DEPT MGR - SPORTS

Chase has been an avid collector and trader of sports cards since 1990. While he likes to play basketball, football is his preferred sport to watch.

DEPT MGR - MAGIC: THE GATHERING

Sam has been planeswalking with Magic since the Return to Ravnica set. When he’s not shuffling 99 cards at a time, he’s adding to his collection of Pokémon cards. A true geek, he’s also a fan of Dungeons & Dragons and Final Fantasy.

DEPT MGR - POKÉMON

Starting with Yu-Gi-Oh back in 2014, Cody has expanded his horizons to Pokemon and has been playing that since 2016. His favorite Pokemon are Palifin, Murkrow, Salamence.

DEPT MGR - YU-GI-OH! & SPECIALTY

Starting with Yu-Gi-Oh! in 2008, Austin has reached Top 8 at the Regional in Columbus, OH in 2022 and Top 64 at YCS Philadelphia in 2023. He also plays One Piece, Union Arena, Lorcana, Pokemon (including a Top 8), and Magic. When he’s not flicking cards, he’s controlling armies for Warhammer 40k.

SHIFT MGR - POKÉMON

Professor Max has been playing the Pokemon TCG since 2020. He is also a solid Yu-Gi-Oh! player (top 32), and has even placed 3rd at an SCG Invitational in Magic.

SHIFT MGR - YU-GI-OH! & SPECIALTY

Clifton has been playing since 2010, with his competitive journey starting in 2013. At YCS Niagara, he placed 2nd and has 16 premiere tops in the game. He also plays One Piece and Pokemon.

SPORTS COLLECTIBLES EXPERT

Cade has been collecting sports cards since 2023 and has dived headfirst into the hobby. He has played basketball, baseball, tennis, and soccer, though basketball is his favorite.

SPORTS COLLECTIBLES EXPERT

Starting with Tony Gwynn, Jason has been collecting since 1983. At one point running his own sports card store, he brings his expertise here. A golf player himself, he collects golf cards as well as the biggest WKU collector in the city.

MAGIC: THE GATHERING EXPERT

Beginning in 2011, Austin has been a long-time player of Magic. A frequent player in GPs and Opens, Austin has seen a lot of the competitive scene. He is also a fan of the GOAT format in Yu-Gi-Oh!

MAGIC: THE GATHERING EXPERT

When Alliances came out in 1996 was when Clay first dabbled in Magic. He has made the Day 2 cut multiple times in Grand Prixs. Currently learning One Piece TCG after being a big fan of the show.

Navigating the jungles of the original Ixalan block, Cam has been an active player of Magic for years. She also plays Pokemon TCG & Yu-Gi-Oh! Her favorite art is Metalworker from Magic.

Having played as a very young child with their brother, Rowan really got into Magic in 2023. Additionally, they’re looking to get into the One Piece TCG. You can tell them in the crowd by their hand carved (themself!) spoon they wear.

Starting in 2013 with Magic, Travis has been a competitive player that has made the Pro Tour. Additionally, he is a sports fan and a player of video games and the One Piece TCG.

POKÉMON EXPERT

Tyler’s journey to become the best there ever was in the Pokemon TCG began in 2007. Since then, he’s become a Pokemon Professor, has judged at Worlds Hawaii, and has been top 64 in Nationals.

POKÉMON EXPERT

Olive has been collecting Pokemon since the late naughts. They have gotten serious about it in the last couple years and the current highlight of their collection is their WIP Glaceon Master Set. Their wife and them own 3 cats and a dog, 75% of which are named after Star Wars characters. They have also published 4 books currently.

YU-GI-OH! EXPERT

Ezra has been playing Yu-Gi-Oh! for 9 years and Pokemon for his entire life. In fact, before he was a Yu-Gi-Oh! Expert, he was a Pokemon Expert at our store!

SPECIALTY EXPERT

With over a year of slinging ink in Lorcana, Blake has expanded to also playing Union Arena (JJK!!), and has just started getting into One Piece TCG.

SPECIALTY EXPERT

Tanner has been playing One Piece for 2 years, though he has 11 years of Yu-Gi-Oh! experience as well. His favorite art in One Piece is the alt art Kuzan from OP-10, Royal Blood (in case you couldn’t tell.)

TABLETOP GAMES EXPERT

A video game, Warhammer 40k, TTRPG, and board game player, Jeremy has experience throughout his area and beyond. A former Magic: the Gathering Expert, he also knowledgeable about Pokemon TCG and Yu-Gi-Oh!
